Jousting involves two medieval knights on horseback battling it out using blunted tips, much to the crowd’s cheering. Watching the two horsemen riding against each other almost feels like taking a walk back to the medieval age. The real-life horses at the Tournament of Kings make this adventure worthwhile.
The audience in attendance is typically divided into eight groups, each to cheer one of the eight participants. The show’s magical allure comes to life as audience members are exposed to the mystical Merlin, special production effects, and dancing maidens. All this happens as you indulge in your meal.
The feast typically includes Cornish hen, potato wedges, and an array of side dishes. You can’t afford to miss the Dragon’s Blood, which is the name given to the hearty tomato soup that is a signature part of the show’s dinner.
The show runs for 90 minutes, with performances running from Thursday to Monday from 6pm. Additional shows are held at 8:30pm on all days except on Monday. The show has no age restrictions, and families can enjoy the show with their kids. Children below three years have free entry provided they are held by their parents and partake of the provided meal.
For those who would like to enjoy a ‘Behind-the-scenes’ show, the 20-minute pre-show is held on Fridays at 4:20pm. With free entry, there is every reason to enjoy this show and learn more about how the stunts are developed right from the conception stage.
