Some of the common plant species include the Creosote Bush, Joshua trees, and Brittle Bush, among others. Popular animal species found in the town include the burrowing owl, coyotes, the Greater roadrunner, as well as the desert tortoise.

For history buffs, the Clark County Museum is a great place to explore. Part of the reason for this is that the museum’s curator is a popular guest on the popular reality show, ‘Pawn Stars’. The museum is also the perfect place to see historic buildings that date back to the 20th century, most notably, the Candlelight Wedding Chapel.
For party lovers, Henderson does not disappoint with its M Resort and Green Valley Ranch – both great venues to enjoy a night out. Wind up your vacation with some retail therapy at the Galleria Mall, or go for the open-air plaza at The District to end a great stay in the city.
