As the city’s historical center, most visitors are fascinated to learn that this was the original site before the opening of The modern-day Strip. Today, the urban core is home to some of the most exciting Las Vegas experiences; featuring an eclectic mix of cultural centers, retail shops, hotels, casinos, and government buildings.

A tour of Downtown Las Vegas is anchored by Fremont Street, Fremont East, and the iconic Fremont Street Experience. Fremont Street is home to most of the hotels and casinos in downtown. One of the highlights the area is the Fremont Street Experience, which is an exciting multisensory adventure. Some of the major features at this include the Slotzilla Zip Line, the Neonopolis shopping complex, as well as Viva Vision.

Downtown Las Vegas features a vibrant art scene, with the main venue been the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. For families, there is also the option of exploring the numerous educational facilities. These include the Neon Museum, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, as well as the Fort State Historic Park. The Discovery Children’s Museum is also a popular family-friendly option.

For some retail therapy, the downtown promises a fantastic shopping experience. The Las Vegas North Premium Outlets are perhaps the most popular retail outlets in this part of the city. The expansive mall is home to stores that stock fashion wear, footwear, and fragrances, among others. Other retail options include the Container Park, as well as the vintage stores.

Some of the parks in downtown are Symphony Park, the Cashman Field Center, Heritage Park, as well as the Lewis Avenue Pedestrian Corridor. So, whether you would love to stay, play, or explore, Downtown Las Vegas does not disappoint. Best of all, it is not far from The Strip, making it a choice location.
